SENIOR
SOCIAL WORK STUDENT PRESENTATIONS

The
2002 senior class social work majors presented their final assignments
to an audience that included, the students in the junior class, Dean Hurrell,
Assistant Dean Otter, and representatives from Counseling, Career Development
and Placement; Admissions; and three social work alumnae.
Senior
social work students presented to fellow classmates, faculty, the junior
class, and invited guests. Each student conducted a fifteen-minute oral
presentation outlining her senior field placement and provided a mini
client case review. The individual presentation topics and settings were
as follows:
Lisa Carino School social work
Jane A. Graver Child welfare agency, residential treatment
Elizabeth Lennon - School social work, private girls school
Lourdes Parra Community organization, immigrant programs
Jennifer Salvatore School social work, early childhood
Diana Sotillo School social work, pre-school developmental
and diagnostic services
Zakiya Tinsley Probation, adolescents and families
Tracy Weeden Occupational/ vocational rehabilitation services
within mental health programs
