How to Register

School of Arts & Sciences 
School of Nursing & Healthcare Professions

Students meet with his/her faculty advisor during the two-week advisement period (3/12-3/23), then register on Banner Hub on their assigned registration day. All students register on Banner Hub on their assigned registration day. You only need to come to the Dean’s Office if you need special approval (e.g. want to take 18 credits). It is your responsibility to check Banner hub for any holds

1.  Review the course offerings and fill out the advisement worksheet including the CRN number, which is required for web registration.

2.  School of Arts & Sciences -Take the form to your adviser(s) for review and approval:

School of Arts & Sciences School of Nursing and Healthcare Professions
  • Freshmen / Sophomores (undecided) / Faculty Advisor*
  • Freshmen (with declared major) / Faculty Advisor*
  • Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors / Faculty Advisor*
  • UG: Freshmen and Sophomores
  • UG: Juniors and Seniors
  • Second Degree/RN-BSN


* You can find the name of your faculty advisor on the Banner Hub under Student Information.

3.  Register online at www.cnr.edu/bannerhub using the following steps:

  • Click on Enter Secure Area
  • Input your CNR username and password
  • Click on Student and Financial Aid, then click Registration
  • Click on Add/Drop Classes
  • Select Term
  • Input the CRN numbers from your registration form and hit "submit"

4.
 To check for holds, click on student records then click on Holds. If there is a hold on your account, contact the appropriate office (bursar, health services, library, etc.) to resolve the issue. You will not be able to register until the hold is lifted.

5. Only the department chairs can sign you into closed courses. Any courses that require special permission have to be entered by your dean's office or the registrar's office.

Priority registration dates are determined by the number of credits you have completed to date not including enrolled credits.
The system will prevent you from registering online prior to your assigned start time. The system is down between the hours of midnight and 8:59 a.m. for registration.

Students meet with his/her Campus Director/Academic Advisor beginning 3/12 then register on Banner Hub on beginning 4/2. It is your responsibility to check Banner hub for any holds. It is your responsibility to check Banner hub for any holds.

3.  You can begin to register online starting at 9 a.m. on April 2. The system is not available to you between the hours of midnight and 8:59 a.m.

Students meet with his/her Advisor beginning 3/12 then register on Banner Hub on beginning 4/5. It is your responsibility to check Banner hub for any holds.

1.  Review the course offerings and fill out the advisement worksheet including the CRN number. so you can discuss your planned courses with your advisor and have the CRN once your advisor confirms the courses you should register for.

2.  Take the form to your advisor so you can discuss your planned courses with your advisor and have the CRN once your advisor confirms the courses you should register for.

3.  You can begin to register online starting at 9 a.m. on April 5. The system is not available to you between the hours of midnight and 8:59 a.m.  
After the add/drop period ends, you must take your registration form to the registrar's office for processing.
