At The College of New Rochelle, we recognize that every student’s needs are different. That is why we have created distinct orientation programs to best serve the needs of the CNR’s diverse population. All new students to the College are expected to attend an orientation session.

Orientation Leaders
Incoming freshmen attend
any one of two overnight summer orientation
sessions hosted by the Office of Student
Development. These overnight orientations
are designed to prepare new students for
their four-year journey at the College.

Transfer students attend a one-day orientation session that will allow them to familiarize themselves with CNR’s resources. We understand that transfer students already bring a wealth of knowledge with them. Therefore, transfer orientation is designed to specifically introduce you to CNR’s unique offerings. 2nd degree nursing students attend a one-day orientation session that will allow them to network with faculty and staff and learn about CNR’s campus resources. In addition, nursing students take a placement exam during this orientation session. Please click here for more information and to register on-line for your session.
CNR faculty and staff are looking forward to meeting you during summer orientation!
