Counseling and Health Services
At The College of New Rochelle, we believe health is a dynamic process that continually changes as health care delivery, health promotion, and environmental health and safety become more complex. As holistic human beings, our needs are individual, and it is those needs that we attempt to meet.
The Counseling and Health Services staff stress preventive health care and health education by encouraging individuals to participate actively in their own health maintenance and to make informed choices regarding their care.
We emphasize wellness and aim for holistic health promotion which can best be achieved through motivating and supporting individual self-responsibility and self-management of health care. The staff is committed to delivering comprehensive clinical services, holistic care, outreach programs, health counseling, and health education classes. Holistic care is promoted as an adjunct to our clinical care.
The Office of Counseling and Health Services is located on the New Rochelle campus in Angela Hall, First Floor. The Office can be reached at (914) 654-5311. The Office is open Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
