CNR Helps Feed Families in Need on Thanksgiving

Before daybreak on November 21, 15 CNR students, along with Dr. Michael Gilliam, assistant professor of mathematics, and Tiffani Blake, dean of students, left campus and headed to Chelsea Piers in New York City to once again partner with FeedingNYC by assembling boxes of Thanksgiving meals for families in need.

National Book Award Finalist Keeps it Real for MFA Students

When novelist Angela Flournoy steps up to the microphone in the art-lined gallery of La Maison d'Art, anticipation fills the air. You can hear the audience lean in to listen to her. The National Book Award finalist read selections from her breakout novel, The Turner House, on November 8 as part of the reading series for CNR’s MFA program in creative writing.

CNR Women's Volleyball Legacy Continues With Fifth Straight Championship

November 7, 2017

The College of New Rochelle hosted the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) women's volleyball championships on Saturday, November 4, at the Wellness Center. The CNR Blue Angels were regular season champions and entered the tournament as the one seed. CNR defeated Pratt, No. 3 seed, in straight sets to claim the 2017 HVIAC women's volleyball championship.

Poets Kick Off CNR MFA Reading Series

CNR Community Comes Together for Family Weekend

As the trees changed colors on campus, undergraduate students at The College of New Rochelle took a few days to share a taste of the CNR experience with loved ones during Family Weekend. The weekend of October 13 – 15, 2017 offered a host of events that featured something for everyone, including food, fun, sports and the chance to walk together in support of breast cancer awareness.
