Students Reflect and Renew at Lenten Retreat

On Sunday, March 4, 16 CNR students and Ursuline Leaders and Campus Ministry and Music Ensembles Director Jenny Rroji took part in a spiritual retreat at the Maryknoll Sisters Center in Ossining, NY. The retreat, a Lenten reflection day for young adults, enabled participants to enter more deeply into the Lenten season and grow in their commitment as Christians.

Coach Davis Selected as AD3I Coach of the Year for Women's Basketball; CNR Basketball Players Receive Awards

The Association of Division III Independents announced on Thursday March 15 that CNR Coach Gerald Davis was selected as the Coach of the Year for Women's Basketball. Senior forward Caitlin Harrison and sophomore guard Dar'Neisha Brice were also named to the First Team All-Independent.

The College of New Rochelle Women’s Basketball Team Wins Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championship

The College of New Rochelle women’s basketball team, the Blue Angels, won the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) Championship game on Sunday, February 18 at the New Rochelle campus. The team had a 77-65 victory over top-seeded Davis College. This is the second win for the team, having previously won in 2014.

Broadway Revival Brings Star and Fellow Alumni Together

January 12, 2018

In late November, more than 25 CNR alumni and staff were Broadway bound to see the revival of Harvey Fierstein’s Torch Song starring CNR alumna Mercedes Ruehl ’69 at the Second Stage Theater in Manhattan. Following the performance, Ruehl joined former classmates and friends in the theater’s café to reminisce about their experiences at the College.
