Master of Science in Nursing Education

This program is designed for nurses who currently work in the field. As the nursing industry continues to grow, skilled health care educators are needed more than ever in nursing schools, hospitals, and clinical settings. Our program uses current and emerging research and knowledge to prepare students to provide expert teaching in the classroom, clinical training, and staff education.

Innovative Curriculum

The program’s 41-credit curriculum is designed to prepare the nurse educator to teach critical thinking and clinical reasoning so that the students and practicing RNs they teach will perform expert professional and advanced nursing care. Graduates will be at the forefront of nursing pedagogy and be superbly prepared to teach in diverse, traditional, and online teaching environments. In addition to this master’s degree, RN-MS options may be available to qualified students.
