If you currently live on-campus and would like to return to on-campus housing for the Fall semester you will need to participate in Room Selection. You may choose to live in the Traditional Housing Program or you may decide to live in one of our Living-Learning communities.
To apply for on-campus housing, you need to complete the online Housing Application and License Agreement. It is important to read the license agreement carefully as it is a legally binding document between you and the College You may also want to check out the housing costs for the upcoming academic year.
After the application and license agreement are completed and submitted, you will be able to pick up a Lottery Number in the Student Development Office (SSC 231).
Once you have completed your application and have your lottery number, the next step is to determine whether you will attend Special Interest Housing Selection or Traditional Housing Selection. In order to participate in Room Selection you must be registered for the fall semester and have no outstanding residence life charges or fines.
Now that you’ve got the basics, let’s go get your room! Based on your lottery number you will arrive at a specific time on one of the Room Selection Days, so make sure to check out the Process and Schedule. Additional information that you need to know about selecting your room can be found in the Housing Selection is as easy as 1, 2, 3 flyer!
Last but not least, if you would prefer a room other than what you selected, you may sign-up on a Waiting List. Waiting lists are usually reviewed right after housing selection is over and again right before the semester begins. Students are responsible for ensuring that Student Development has your most up to date contact information. If you are contacted about the wait list, you will be given 24 hours to respond to the voicemail or email regarding your decision.
