Dr. Teri Kwal Gamble
Dr. Teri Gamble is the Chair of the Division of Communication and Media, and Director of the M.S. in Communication Management and Media. Her research interests include the interface between mediated, interpersonal, and public communication, leadership and teambuilding, gender, and nonverbal communication. She is a professional writer of educational and training materials.
She and her husband Michael have written numerous text and trade books including, The Public Speaking Playbook (SAGE), The Communication Playbook (SAGE), and The Interpersonal Communication Playbook (SAGE). The Gambles are also the authors of Leading with Communication (SAGE), Nonverbal Messages Tell More (Rutledge) and The Gender Communication Connection (Rutledge). Earlier publications include Oral Interpretation: Bringing Literature to Life through Performance (McGraw-Hill), and Sales Scripts that Sell (AMACOM).
Gamble teaches courses in Organizational Communication, Leadership, Strategic Communication, Mediated Communication, Intercultural Communication, Nonverbal Communication, and Gender and Communication. She is the co-founder of Interact Training Systems, a consulting firm that conducts seminars, workshops and short courses for educational, business, and professional organizations
