Emily Stern is a graphic designer and artist, currently working in water-based media on paper. She has exhibited nationally and internationally, including at McKenzie Fine Art, Kentler International Drawing Space, Schroeder-Romero Gallery, Pierogi Gallery and BRIC Rotunda Gallery in New York, Forge Gallery in Milford, Pa., Geoffrey Young Gallery in Great Barrington, Mass., and ABA Gallery in Recife, Brazil.
Her work is included in public and private collections such as the Indiana University Fine Arts Library in Bloomington Ind., and the Marino Golinelli Collection in Bologna, Italy. She is co-author, with Associate Professor Ruth Zealand, chairwoman of the Education Department, of “Starting Your Career in Art Education,” Allworth Press, 2013. She teaches design courses, including foundation design, graphic design, and computer graphic design.
