Dr. Johnnie O'Neal
Dr. O'Neal’s research interests focus on HIV/AIDS prevention and the older adult. His current research is focused on older men who have sex with men (MSM) and HIV/AIDS prevention initiatives.
As a clinical social worker, Dr. O'Neal worked with a variety of populations and communities ranging from children to older adults. His areas of expertise are HIV/AIDS, medical social work, and aging adults.
Dr. O'Neal teaches a wide range of social work courses at The College of New Rochelle, including Policy, Foundation of Social Work Practice, Generalist Practice, and Field Instruction. In addition to teaching, he serves as the Program's Field Coordinator.
