Dr. Ali Moghani was a professor of mathematics in Iran for 12 years prior to arriving in the United States in 2014. Most recently, he was a visiting professor at William Paterson University New Jersey and Montclair State University from 2015 to 2018, before joining the faculty at The College of New Rochelle.

He has published journal papers in the following areas: Image Processing, Computational Models, Computational Chemistry, Mathematical Chemistry, Nano-Science & Nano-Technology, Finite Group Theory, Subgroup Lattices, Partition Theory, Theory of Hyper structures and Fuzzy sets, and Character Theory of Finite Groups.

In addition to mathematics, he also has experience in the computer science area with Java, C++, Python, and GAP languages.

At CNR, he teaches courses in the mathematics department, including Differential Equations, Calculus III, Pre-Calculus, Abstract Algebra, Analysis, Calculus I, and Intermediate Algebra.
